Our main recommendation for cotton bales. The embossed surface resists slipping in buckles and tensioners; made in 5/8 in (16 mm) and 3/4 in (19 mm) widths.

02Product family
Polyester strapping is the steel strapping alternative: light, flexible, rust-free, made from 100% PET flake. Embossed or smooth; green is standard, with black, transparent and other colors on request. AAR approved in three Type IV variants with friction welds: smooth 5/8 × 0.035 in and 3/4 × 0.040 in, embossed 5/8 × 0.035 in.

Polypropylene strapping in two grades: Virgin (Original) made from virgin PP and Recycled (Second Grade) made from recycled PP. Both are economical poly strapping for light to medium loads, from about 1/4 in to 5/8 in (6–16 mm) wide.

06Who we are
Kambiz Vatandost founded Polipak Plastik in Bayrampaşa, Istanbul, in 1983. When polyester strapping was still imported into Türkiye, the company took the first step toward producing it in the country, in 2003. Today we make polyester (PET) and polypropylene (PP) strapping at our plant in the Gebze Plastics Organized Industrial Zone (GEPOSB) and have exported to 43 countries.
